Pico de Piedra Beach

Pico de Piedra Beach is a beautiful beach located on the western coast of Puerto Rico in the municipality of Aguada. From this beach you will enjoy an excellent view of Desecheo Island and you will find the mouth of the Guayabo River that opens towards the ocean.
On the right side of the beach you will find a great snorkeling spot. The beach also have very colorful benches to rest on. On the left side of the beach, you will find a river that opens into the ocean.
The beach is good for fishing, boating, swimming, and rowing among other water-sports. The beach has facilities, bathrooms. walking and bike ares, beach huts, running water, an emergency room along with restaurants, food kiosks and other facilities; The beach also has ample free parking.
Every day you can see the fishermen pulling out their yolas with the catch of the day, which they sell along the beach.
In addition to the facilities on the beach such as bathrooms, showers, and kiosks, it also has a wide platform from where fabulous shows are presented with the most renowned artists in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Pico de Piedra Beach festivals are famous throughout Puerto Rico and are celebrated every June 24, the day of San Juan Bautista. For three consecutive days you will be able to listen to and enjoy salsa music, merengue, kiosks and contests.
One of the main attractions of this beach is its beautiful sunsets. This beach has lifeguards, food kiosks, picnic areas, a recreational area for children and an area for activities. The beach also has free parking.
On this beach you can do different activities to complement your stay, such as catamaran rides, kayaking, diving and snorkeling. Also, there are places where there sell food and drinks.
