Pico de Piedra Beach

Pico de Piedra Beach is a beautiful beach located on the western coast of Puerto Rico in the town of Aguada. From it you will enjoy an excellent view of the Desecheo Island and you will find the mouth of the Guayabo River that opens towards the ocean. On the right side of the beach you will find a great place to dive. They also have very colorful benches to rest. On the left side, you will find a river that opens to the ocean.
This beach has facilities for walking, bike riding, beach huts, running water, an emergency room along with restaurants, beach bars and other facilities; it also has ample parking. It’s good for fishing, boating, swimming and paddle boarding. Every day you can see the fishermen pulling out their yolas with the catch of the day, which they sell along the beach.
In addition to the facilities on the beach such as bathrooms, showers, and food kiosks, it has a large stage from where fabulous shows are presented by the most renowned artists of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Pico de Piedra Beach festivals are already famous throughout Puerto Rico and is celebrated every June 24th, the day of San Juan Bautista, for three consecutive days with salsa music, merengue, kiosks and contests.
One of the main attractions of this beach is its beautiful sunsets. This beach has lifeguards, kiosks, snacks, a recreational area for children and an area for activities. The beach has free parking.
On this beach you can perform different activities to complement your stay, such as catamaran rides, kayaking, diving and snorkeling among other watersports. Also, there are stores selling food and drinks. If you are looking for a beach with little concurrence next to a beautiful landscape, Pico de Piedra Beach is the perfect place.
