Santa Beach located in the southern area of the island of Puerto Rico in the town of Guánica, is one of the most visited and famous beaches for its easy access and calm waters. It has an extensive wide coastline, its sand is white and the water is shallow and crystal clear.

The beach is famous among young people for being the favorite “after party” destination when the Inter-University Fair is held annually in the city of Ponce.

The beach borders the Natural Reserve of La Parguera and the Guánica State Forest. It has an extensive and wide coast of white sand, clear, calm and shallow waters. In it you can enjoy a delicious family BBQ, practice all kinds of water sports, camp in front of the sea shore or stay at the Playa Santa Vacation Center (AEELA).

Adjacent to the beach you can find a Malecon used by fishermen and several food and beverage spots in the area. Ideal for family enjoyment and appreciate its beautiful sunsets. There are shops and food and beverage kiosks at the entrance of the beach. The beach has a small parking lot and there is an additional cost for parking.

On the beach there are water sports concessions that offer banana boat rides, jet ski rentals, pedal boats rentals, kayak rentals, beach chairs, beach umbrellas and all type and other water equipment and supplies.

How to get to the beach:
Take Highway 116 west to Highway 3116. Turn left (south) onto Highway 325. Follow Highway 325 until you reach a tee and then turn left onto the tee. Then turn right and look for a place to park. There are some signs along the way, but your best option is to have a GPS.
